My last couple of months have been challenging.
Leaving home and everything that is collectively called home — friends, family, my dog, my favorite fireplace at home.
Then packing up all my most precious belongings into two suitcases (not much, cause one of the suitcases was taken by bike gear). And flying towards my new life 10 hours back from a timezone I used to call home.
To build a new one.

Man, this is hard.
Please, don't get me wrong.
This is something I wanted and am excited about. And it has already given me sooooo much, that I know - I am in the right place at the right time.

What I am trying to say,
Change is hard.
No matter how badly you want it.
And it requires a lot of resources.
- Time
- Money
- Effort
- Consistency
- Willpower
- Discipline, etc.
And the bigger the change, the more resources you need to have.
So most of us prepare for changes. We plan, we accumulate resources, and we start the journey.

But as you know, we all have a plan until we get punched in the mouth.

And we all do. Sooner or later. Easier or harder.

Your plan might have not accounted for unknowns.
You might have needed to have more resources or they got scarce on the way.

And this is a moment of truth.
You either power through the change no matter what.
Or you go back to where you started.

Unfortunately, most people don't go through.
- Most likely they will turn around and go back to what is familiar (not necessarily comfortable).
- Most likely they will acquire or deepen their fear of change.
- Most likely next time faced by a new opportunity of change, even really desired, they won't even try.

And this brings me to a question:
How do you become a person who powers through big challenges no matter what?
A surface answer is:
- Get better at planning.
- Acquire and accumulate more resources.
But the truth is, you'll never perfect either.
There will always be an unexpected unknown. And the resources are always going to be scarce.

So what is the solution?

Build your foundation. Build your confidence. Build the trust in yourself that you will survive no matter what.
Get into a mindset: "Challenges are a part of the success package. And I am enough to power through these challenges."

And you know what? I I always ask my clients when we start our 1:1 work:
"Imagine you have high energy. What will it change in your life?"
The most common answer is:

"I will no longer be afraid. I will finally start what I always wanted. I will not be afraid to mistakes because I will learn from them. And I will be confident I will make it through no matter what. At my own pace, with own rules"

You see, I've done my work in the past. I walked away many times when faced by challenges.
Today I don't.
Faced by challenges, that would scare most of the people, I just invest more and more in my energy.
And I am 300% sure, these challenges are going to be precious lessons on my way to my dreams.

So I am here to help you do your work.
- Increase your energy
- Eliminate your limiting beliefs and fears
- Get you in a mindset that will keep you going
I am here to be your guide.

Till next Wednesday, when I am going to write about building your support groups, who believe in you more than you do.
Olena.
P.S. If there is anything that has resonated with you, write me back. Just hit reply and share anything that comes to your mind. I looooooove getting your emails. And I will always reply.
